Eek mice!

I just found my puppy and cat fighting over who gets to eat a dead mouse. Ew does anyone know of a good mouse trap or something to get rid of them without hurting dogs and cats. Tia!

Re: Eek mice!

  • Get a good snap trap. It is the most humane way of killing the mice and you don't need to worry about your dog and cat ingesting mouse poison.

  • I like the no see 'em traps. They work they same as a snap traps, you can put your own bait in them and the trap shuts behind the mouse. My dog would totally find any snap trap eat the dead mouse... Indifferent. So we would have to use a the no see 'em kind.

  • We had the same problem.  My husband put the mouse snap trap in the kitchen drawers where we found evidence of mice.  With the drawers shut our cat couldn't get to the traps and we caught one mouse.
