Looks like the unemployment rate jumped from 7.8% to 7.9%.
Do you think the change will impact the election? I don't think so since it's only a slight change. I also think most people already know who they are voting for. I do wonder if undecided voters will be swayed to vote for Romney?

I agree that it's not likely to affect the election.
I think most people care more about their own pocketbook than an abstract number. That number can tell you something about how people are feeling, but it's not like the news changes how people are feeling.
My hunch is last month's 7.8 was off, it should have been 7.9, which a lot of people were saying at the time. Unchanged isn't a great result, but it's not a terrible one either. It's kind of good for Obama, kind of bad, so in net I don't see it changing many minds at all.
