Remember how I was asking why we weren't under a hurricane watch?
I found out a cool fact today. Because we were never under a hurricane watch any damage caused to homes is being considered wind damage etc and being taken care of via the regular deductible as opposed to a hurricane deductible. My regular deductible is $500 and my hurricane deductible is like $6,000 or more (I don't really know). But this has got to be a huge help for people! This is only for DE not sure what the situation is in other states.
