My poor dad in NJ. They still dont have power going on for 6 days now and they are not expected to have it back until next Wed/Thursday. Gas is $16/gallon and the lines are hundreds of cars long. They created a system where odd numbered licence plates can get gas on a certain day and even on the other. They have no heat or got water but thankfully they have a generator for some power. Schools have been closed for a week now with no date to reopen. They also have barely any cell service because towers went down and they can only get signal in certain areas. Internet is out, cable is out and phone companies are out because they dont have power either. All the stores in the area are empty because either they were bought out or they had to throw it out because there is no power for so long. My dad told me the only thing there is in stores is sodas.
I told them to come stay with me but they cant because they have the store and they are refusing to close it because its lost revenue for every day its closed.

Re: NJ
I agree. I tried to check the prices on GasBuddy and NewJerseyGasPrices.com and conveniently the only gas station's that are listed are the ones that are 40 min out from them. There is no gas station's listed in their area at all which make me wonder if they are doing it "under the table"so to say.
Are they even doing business with no power etc?
The store has power thankfully so when Daga is there she gets to stay warm but they dont have phone or internet service. My dad is doing contacting work so hes all over the place fixing peoples homes. At least he has a lot of business now.
