If you go to Christmas Village...
take your own shopping bag! I got some little things and wished I had brought my big cloth bag. I got some Christmas earrings, AU earrings, a necklace, vintage broach, some instant Wassail (I'm sure Lauren's is better!), and a water spout for our Christmas tree this year. I saw lots of ladies wearing Christmas shirts, so I didn't feel bad for wearing my Old Navy Christmas shirt. :-)
Re: If you go to Christmas Village...
There were women pulling those rolling carts that you usually put groceries in full of things! One woman woman had to carry hers because all the stuff in hers broke the wheels.
Oh and there's TONS of baby stuff! I held such restraint b/c there was so much that would've bought if I had a bambino on the way, but couldn't. :-) ::sigh::
awe!!! sounds like it was fun...and girl...instant wassail...i mean...dang! bring it!
wassail is wassail...
This gets me excited... I am going to Tuscaloosa's version of Christmas Village today (Merry Market)... and I am pumped! Festiveness here I come!!
I always end up buying more stuff for myself....than gifts for others...lol!!!
It is still one of my fav events of the year! My mom and I stopped by homestead hollow yesterday...and I picked up the cutest fleece sweatshirt with a big snowman on it! Yes....it does look like I should be teaching kindergarten when I wear it....but I don't care! Festiveness...here I come
I wish I would have had a way to get there last night as we sat waiting for our bus...I saw the sign outside the BJCC I guess? where it was going on this weekend and remembered how great you all said it was last year.
