Help! Quick question...

I made a casserole today it's been sitting out cooling for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours now...I was just getting ready to put some foil over it and stick it in the fridge when i noticed some of the chicken is not cooked through...do I need to just toss the whole casserole now since its been sitting out for a while and possible contamination of other the other ingredients (corn, peas, sour cream, c/o chicken soup and stuffing on top) or can i stick it back in the oven to finish cooking? I asked my mom who said it should be fine to just put it back in for 15-20 minutes but told me to put foil over it so the stuffing doesn't burn...just want to get some other opinions. TIA!
