intro and question

Hi everyone,

 I am recently married and have moved over here from the knot.  My husband and I are looking at houses now... time to move out of our apartment   The house we are looking at does not include the stove or fridge, which is nbd, but my question is do we go gas or electric for the new stove?  I am used to electric, but have heard many good things about gas.

 Any and all advice is appreciated!  Thanks in advance

Go gas if you can - you will have so much more control over the heat level.  I often joke to my husband that his gas stove was the reason I married him.

I had the option for gas, but keep in mind it's more expensive, and decide if that's where you want to spend your money.

if you have the option i would choose gas also, so much better to cook with and faster.  I grew up with electric and then we bought a house with gas, what a difference!!!

I also vote gas! In addition to what PP said, an added bonus is that if you ever have a storm and lose power, you can still cook!
