I haven't owned any of those, but I have heard that the Blackberries are kinda hit or miss with quality. I have several coworkers that have them and love them, but my younger brother bought one (one of the cheaper models from T-Mobile, I think) and the keys fell off of two of them, before he gave up and bought a sidekick instead.
If you haven't already, maybe ask to see a real one in the store and make sure the quality of the model you're thinking about buying matches your expectations.
