re: Holidays...Holiday crafts?
Anyone doing any crafts or home made gifts this year? I was thinking of doing an ornament wreath and probably hand print ornaments with DS's hand print for us and the grandparents.

I may....haven't put much thought into it yet. I did save this link from Pinterest though that might come in handy!

ETA: those are mostly food related, I also saved this link to read later. There are some things you could do for holidays in here.

I'm going to make homemade truffles this year for gifts and attack some homemade crafts but for my own use- not to give. Haven't figured out yet what I want to make though. I have candle holders that are clear and you fill them with whatever you want so I'm thinking about creating some sort of cute christmas arrangement for us that have a red/green theme.
I made an ornament wreath a few years ago and it turned out nicely!
I'm making a ribbon wreath and Aiden will be making ornaments for family members. I'm sure we'll do some other stuff, I just haven't figured out what yet!

Funny timing, I'm organizing my to-do list for Holiday DIY gifts now! So far I have-
Photo Coasters (made them last year, they're so easy!) http://thefrugalgirls.com/2010/11/how-to-make-photo-coasters.html
These cookie mix mason jars from Bakerella- http://www.bakerella.com/mix-things-up/
I have a few friends who always say they wished they baked more so I'm making a DIY cupcake tin with a few recipe cards, fun cupcake liners, icing spreader and piping bags with a few tips, and sprinkles.
I thought these were cute, not sure if I'll make them- http://www.twigandthistle.com/blog/2009/11/diy-smores-kits/
Those are all really cute!
I am planning an ornament wreath, but a ribbon wreath sounds cool too! I will have to look that up...
