Tattoo Artists?

Does anyone know of any really good Tattoo Artists in the greater Baltimore/DC area?  I want to give my husband a gift card for a tattoo that he has been talking about for years but I want to go to someone that is really good. If that means it costs a little more, that is fine. This is not the kind of thing I want to be cheap on.. it will be on his body forever!

Re: Tattoo Artists?

  • Dragon Moon on Crain Hwy in Glen Burnie has a great reputation. Their prices do reflect that, but as you said, a tattoo isn't something to be cheap about.

  • My DH has had 2 tattoos done in Laurel and he loves them. He is sleeping at the moment but I will add the name of the place when he gets up.
  • I have a friend who has a ton of work done by Kirk at Flesh Tattoo in Fallston, it's all really awesome and i'm planning to get my next one with him.. when i figure out what i want next! LOL

Just about any tattoo shop you go into should have a portfolio you can look through.  Some artists specialize in a certain style so you might want to find one that matches up with the style of what your husband wants.

  • Oh cool, I just checked Flesh Tattoo's website. I don't see Kirk's portfolio but do like Guy's work.

A few years back we saw "Nameless Tattoo" from Glen Burnie at a Convention and they are awesome. Will Rothe does amazing work but it seems as if they deleted their website and his email address isnt working either. I will try to call the number on Monday.

  • I can recommend the Baltimore Tattoo Museum or Saint and Sinners. Both are in Fell's Point.
