6 month wedding anniversary

Did anyone celebrate (or do something special) for their 6 month wedding anniversary? If so, what did you end up doing? Ours is the 26th so right after Thanksgiving, and I would like to do something special but I have not gone far with ideas. I was thinking about making an awesome dinner and then just a bunch of cuddle time. Ideas or thoughts appreciated!

No. We went out for dinner when we'd been married a month. After that we only celebrate yearly anniversaries.

We didn't do anything and generally wouldn't.  Your idea sounds great!  Especially after Thanksgiving and all that family time.  I am sure that it will be well appreciated!

We didn't make a big deal about it. I made a really nice brunch (which we never really do for the 2 of us) and had mimosas and had a lazy day. it was great!

We didn't do anything. Half/ 6month anniversaries have never been a big deal to us. A nice dinner, drinks and cuddling, watch a movie would be a great way to unwind after crazy holiday. It being your 6th month anniversary would be a plus.

We try to do something every month to celebrate. We can't always hit the exact date but we get close. But no matter what we get a bottle of wine and cuddle on the couch every month. And when we can afford it we take a weekend and get us a room, to get some alone time away from everyone. Both of our families are always around in some fashion and that is about the only time we are alone.

I completely forgot it was my 6th month Anniversary until I signed onto the Nest!

My husband ordered an anniversary room decoration and we stayed the night in one of my favorite resorts! We had such a great time.
