Rec your flea/tick treatment for kittens

We had a stray that adopted us, so at this point he is still an indoors/outdoors cat. While petting him last night, I found a tick on his neck. What can I use on a kitten (approx 4 mo) that is also safe for our 3-year old? I dislike Frontline b/c if DD pets him, she'll get it on her hands.

  • Unfortunately frontline is really the only decent product out there for ticks specifically. :-/

  • I agree with PP, unfortunately. It takes at least 24 hours for the product to absorb into the skin so you could apply it at night after DD has gone to bed then by morning the majority of the product will no longer remain on the skin.
