Re: Confessions
1.) the in-laws have been asking to go on a cruise with us in January for quite a few months now. I've been secretly hoping they would forget or decide not to do it since it does cost quite a bit. But no such luck. Now we're hoping to convince them to do the 4 day baja cruise over the 7 day mexican riviera cruise for money reasons. Yes they expect us to go on a cruise with them and pay for it. However, we've been planning an Alaskan cruise next June since the summer, since Jared starts working for Amazon in Seattle mid-June and I will be down here in California for a year finishing my masters. Our last vacation until we live apart for a year. So that's a long confession of I don't want to pay extra money to be stuck on a cruise ship with my in-laws haha
2.) J and I have been married for 10 months today and I'm obsessed with the kids category on pinterest. I am thinking about kids so often these days. a year and a half until we can start being careless haha

2. I haven't tried them yet. I just post kids stuff in my board called "Someday" or "Things that make me smile" haha. I should start a secret board so people don't get the wrong idea haha
We're going to the Bahamas in January. Book them on our ship.
We're going to Alaska in September. Joy has been getting a little stressed with us paying off two cruises, but nothing we can't handle....:)
It's the paying off two cruises that is stressing me out. Jared is carefree about it haha. But I'm sure it'll be okay. It's looking like four day cruise to Catalina Islands and Ensenada Jan 7th through 11th and 7 day alaskan cruse June 4th through 11th. Fun but stressful
Wow. Sounds like Joy and I.
Every time I tell her this month might be a little tight, her first reaction is to blame the cruises. Let's just ignore that we spend money on tickets to Thailand so she can go home, or the car repairs on both of our cars, or all the presents she plans to take home.
I paid one of them off this month. The next one gets paid off in July...
1) I'm jealous of everyone's vacations. I know part of having a baby so soon is that I won't have the money to go on these wonderful vacations for a while. I'm super happy to be pregnant and have that little bundle of joy on the way.
2) My new work wardrobe consists of long tunic sweaters, leggings and fuzzy boots. It may be a bit more casual than what I usually wear, but it's comfy and bump friendly.
On a side note: I'm freaking hot today. I've been freezing all week. I bought a new sweater at Old Navy a while back but hadn't worn it because it's super heavy and I was worried about being hot all day. It's cute but at 8:35 I'm ready to be wearing something else. At least I'm no longer freezing.
3) As much as I want to see my family for Thanksgiving, I'm not looking forward to the 5 hour drive each way, having to stay at my sisters on an air mattress, or my mom's packed house.
1. I wish I could go skiing in Park City, Utah. I was trying to plan it for mid December but it's just not in the budget. We are sooooooo poor right now. It's terrible.
2. I wish my brother would come for Thanksgiving dinner but him and my uncle are not getting along and my uncle will be there. I'm sad. In a way I'd rather have my brother than my uncle. It really sucks when family drama seperates families.
3. I am going to apply for a job at the community college I work at. It's for a temporary full time position. I really don't want the job but it pays well and I'd take it if it were offered to me.
4. I feel fat. I wish the bump would start already because then people would be able to tell I am pregnant. Right now I just look fat.

As my childbirth instructor tells us every class: "You are not fat! You are pregnant." I totally get how you feel, I still have those days too. My hips have definitely gotten wider. I just keep repeating this to myself.
Jean- totally get not wanting to go on the cruise with them. Also, who cares if you look at baby stuff, it is cute!
Michelle- Yay for being hot! Baby on the way is definitely more exciting. And I can imagine that there will be some happy family members willing to watch Lilly if you want to take a weekend getaway in the future! Good luck with the drive too!
Tara- I am sorry that you can't go for a ski getaway. I hope that maybe you can get a job offer. After all, you might end up loving it! I also hope that your brother and uncle can resolve their dispute, so that you can all celebrate together. Maybe he will turn around because it is the holidays.
And you are all beautiful, even though you feel pudgy because of your babies!
Ok.... on to mine.
1. My MIL is really getting on my nerves. I am starting to feel like I barely know her anymore, and don't really feel like spending much time with her lately. Ever since the whole moving thing, which she finally gave up on, though not without many gripes and complaints about how no one care what she feels, I don't feel that I have the same relationship anymore. I feel like a high schooler who roles my eyes every time she speaks now.
2. I am frankly a little scared of moving, because it is going to mean being by myself a lot, especially at night. I am excited about living on our own, but for the most part, it is going to be me living on my own.
3. I am tired of consoling my friend who is going through a break up. She is a negative person from the get go, so when ever things go wrong, she is really weepy.
To be honest, I really want an interview for a middle school language arts job I just applied to. I got a postcard saying they received my resume, but so far no call for an interview. It's at a school about 40 minutes away but it's straight up the highway. I'll still apply for the community college job, however my heart is really for teaching kids, not adults.
No chance that the family feud will settle. My uncle put the house up for sale where my brother lives. My brother is furious because he's lived there since he was 16. It was my grandmother's house and she passed away in 2007. She signed the house over to my uncle, not my mom. My uncle has allowed my brother to stay there (without paying any of the bills) for this long but now it's up for sale. I can't blame my uncle really. However, my brother will have no place to live if the house sells. He'll probably end up at my parent's house. My brother has asperger's (I think) and he "flips out" a lot. it's really hard for him to get a job.
