Girls with tummy problems.
I know a bunch of us on here have had tummy problems. I have some sort of epic stomach ache going on and tomorrow will be day 5. It feels best when I'm standing up or laying flat. When I'm sitting it hurts and it's unbearable after I eat or drink even if it's bland things like crackers and bread. I've haven't thrown up since Sunday and I'm working really hard to stay hydrated even though it bothers my tummy to drink anything.
The only thing that gives me any relief it a hot bath or alka seltzer but that relief only lasts for about 20 minutes.
Any suggestions for me?

Re: Girls with tummy problems.
When I had those symptoms it was definitely stress related... I would eat and 10-15 mins later I'd be doubled over in pain.
Now I just have tummy issues of the #2 variety, and probiotics help the most.
oh I'm so sorry to hear that! can you eat any chicken?

I was thinking really hard about this today and unless I'm stressed an oblivious to it (which could very well be possible, sometimes I'm not very in tune with myself) I don't think that's it.
I haven't tried because all the chicken in my house is marinated and I haven't bought any because I wasn't sure I would be able to eat it.
Yea, it's something about being stress you produce more acid in your stomach... and over time if you don't destress it builds. I didn't realize it but I was stressed out about life after college so my senor year was awful tummy wise.
I did eat a lot of baked potatoes and that helped. I think if it's on-going see a doctor.
It feels like intense gas pains but constant. And like my stomach is REALLY full. And I can hear it making noises.
Sorry if this is TMI, but do you get any relief when you use the bathroom, or is going to the bathroom painful, too?
When I was going through all my stuff in the summer, I felt really bloated and crampy. And going to the bathroom hurt A LOT, but when I would go, it felt a lot better.
