Travel Town

We are contemplating having Jacob's 3rd birthday there in June. ?Has anyone had a party or been to a party there?

Thanks in advance.?

Re: Travel Town

  • We have not but I believe Mindy or Mariavictoria have for their sons.  We been there many times and have seen parties there.  Looks like fun!  GL!  I'm sure it'll be great!
  • oh that sounds like fun!!
  • OMG shelly, I was just talking to my hubby about this too.  Julian loves trains and we were already planning a train theme.  I looked on the website and it said that you can hold up to 40 people in the train car. It also said that the car has a/c and a fridge

Yeah I saw the car from the outside, the a/c is a window a/c. I was just wondering how it looks set up, from a perspective of someone I chat with rather than the facility. ?It is $200 for 3 hours, you provide the food, drinks, & cake. ?So it isn't bad.?

  • Jake had his 2nd birthday there.  We reserved the Pennsylvania (Brown) Car.  Everyone had such a good time.  All the kids loved looking at the different trains.

The cars do have a fridge and an A/C.  The A/C does it job, unless you are in the middle of a heat wave.  Jake's birthday was in May, but there was a heat wave.  Imagine 105 degree weather with only 1 A/C and about 40 people.  Yup, very hot.  If it was even 90 degrees, I think it would have been fine.  Other than that, I recommend it.

  • mariavic,

can you decorate it on the inside?

  • We were able to decorate.  You just have to be careful about the tape you use to hang stuff up.
