What's your astrological sign, and a) do you believe that stuff? b) do you feel like you embody the traits of that sign c) are you and your husband's signs "compatible"?
I'm a Cancer, and as much as I hate to admit it...I am completely a typical Cancer. 
Shy, sensitive, emotional, and can cling a lot to the past (like old friendships, old possessions, etc). Definitely very loyal too. My husband is a Scorpio, and that's supposed to be really "compatible" with Cancers. I have to say I think everything I have read about the two as a romantic relationship has been pretty spot on! Also, I have never met an Aries I can get along with so maybe there's somethin' to this whole astrology thing! lol.

I am a Taurus
I don't really beleive in it in terms of "this is the way all taurus's" are or that you can read the paper in the morning and know what your day is going to be like. However I think we see ourselves in our signs because the descriptions are fairly broad and psycologically when we are told we should be like a specific sign then we look for application of those qualities in our life...so there is some truth, but more based on us seeing it through the viewpoint of our own personality...having said that I am definately a taurus....romantic and moody but stubborn and bull headed.
H and I shouldn't be compatable according to the signs...but we are...so again...I think we read what relates out of it, and the rest doesn't matter.

I am also a Cancer and I agree with everything you said!
I am shy and sensitive (my DH hates how sensitive I am).
I have also heard that Cancerians are very, hhmm how do I say it. Like once we decide that's the last straw we commit to it and I am that way, once I am fed up with lets say someone and I put my fut down and say that's it, well that's it, I will never talk to that person again. I don't know maybe I'm just like that.
My sister is a scorpion and I can't stand her, haha!!!
My DH is a Gemini and they say we are not compatible and I believe we are very much so! We get along great, good communication and good everything. I do believe in astrology just not so much in the compatibility of my DH and I.
Separately I'd say our signs describe is fairly well (I'm Aries, he's Scorpio), but as far as the extremes of the descriptions relationship-wise (aries are supposed to be selfish and willful, scorpios are brooding and vindictive) that part's way off on both sides. He's got mah back
Apparently we two are mellow versions of our respective signs. Which is to say we are old and boring
I'm a Pisces.
A) I definitely agree with a lot of the PP's that I do not seriously believe in astrology, but I find a lot of it very relevant and interesting.
C) A long time ago in a Cosmo Girl magazine, there was an astrology compatibility pamphlet and it said Pisces and Leo were a 2 out of 10 together and that the relationship would start out fine but crash and burn quickly. However, I decided to read more into it and it said that the two signs are polar opposites in a lot of ways, and we definitely are, but that we fill each others voids. I definitely agree with that. Where I am all emotion, he is all logic. I think we mesh so well together and bring out the best in each other, as well as balancing our extreme qualities. I've calmed him down and he's made me stronger.
No wonder nyc artist and bridget0117 that we get along, Pisces and Cancer are very compatible in friendships. One of my best friends is a Cancer.

I do believe in astrology, and some of my family members even do charting and what not. I think astrology fits different people to different extents, and it just happens to fit us well. As long as one considers their source, and takes everything with a grain of salt, it makes for good entertainment and can serve as more.
My H is a true Taurus, although he does not believe in astrology at all. But it sure put a smile on his face to read that Taurus and Cancer make a perfect match!
I am an Aquarius.
1) I'm pretty into astrology. I get crap for it but I don't care. I mark the calendar when mercury is in retrograde and adore Susan Miller! I read my daily/monthly horoscopes and regularly read the horoscopes of the people I love just to see how the day will go for them.
2) I am the definition of Aquarius!
3) DW is a Capricorn. They aren't a perfect fit astrologically speaking, but they're not a match made in hell like an air sign (Aquarius, Aries and Libra) and a water sign (Picses, Cancer and Scorpio). But are we a good fit? I think so. I'm definitely away in the clouds most of the time, dreaming up my next scheme and planning for the future while DW keeps me grounded (love an earth sign!) and focused on the details. DW also isn't as intense as I am, I can ponder something trivial for hours while she's long moved on and forgotten about it. On the flip side, DW overwhelms easily and gets lost in the details, sometimes she needs me to help paint the bigger picture. She is steady, reliable and easy-going; I can be flakey, change my mind often and am sometimes too serious. In the end I think we balance eachother out. :-)
I am an Aquarius and my H is a Capricorn. We are both pretty laid back and like to keep things light hearted for the most part.
I think I am a bit eccentric which is supposely a trait of Aquarians. He is very pragmatic.
I don't think the two signs are the most romantically compatiable according to the zodiac but we seem to work quite nicely in general.
On big step of his is agreeing to dance with me in public. He isn't much of a dancer but he knows I love to dance. I think it is great he makes the effort.
I am a Scorpio, DH is a Sagittarius. Scorpios can be very loyal and loving friends, but to become true friends with a Scorpio, it will take a lot of time to prove to them that you are a friend they can trust completely.

The Sagittarius is really a centaur -- the lower half is horse, the upper half is a man. The man is holding a bow with an arrow aimed upwards toward the sky. This symbolizes the Sagittarius' drive to overcome basic animal instincts by aiming his thoughts into the divine realms of the heavens. In other words, Sagittarius is hunting for ideas and experiences that draw you into greater awareness. As such, Sagittarius tend to love adventure, travel and philosophy -- all ways of extending beyond your immediate surroundings.

I know little about it but I am not like some who live their lives by it all day every day. LOL
I had an astronomy professor that did an astrology lessen with us once. He said he would look up a very specific and detailed sign information based on the date, time, and where we were born. Then he had us keep it private a week later when he brought the result to us. Took a poll as to who felt it was a good fit/not. Most people thought 100% fit. A few thought not at all and a handful in between-ers. Then he asked for volunteers to read there horoscopes. Everyone had the same one. And it was the horoscope for Hitler.
So, I haven't really followed them with much belief since then. I agree that people take the ideas that fit them because it's broad enough to fit many people.
