Thanksgiving Week Randoms
Looks like a short work week this week. SS only has school Monday and Tuesday and then he's off for the rest of the week. We are keeping Wednesday open trying not to schedule any appointments of clients if we can help it. Today we are finishing up 2 machines that are to be delivered tomorrow. Tuesday will be a busy day with the delivery and set up of 2 new machines and dentist and a meeting with SS's counselor who is retiring.
Thursday we get to travel to Ludington for Thanksgiving. My parents and SS are going up Wednesday and coming back Friday. Well at least thats the plan right now. This is the first time we really have had to travel for a holiday. Kind of seem weird.

We are staying here for Thanksgiving this year. This will be the first time we haven't been with one of our families for the holiday. I bought a small butterball turkey to make in the crock pot - it will more more than enough for the three of us. We figure we will start our own traditions this year and maybe continue to stay here for Thanksgiving from now on. We will probably spend the day decorating the house and then eat an early dinner. DH has to go out "shopping" on Friday morning to check out competitors deals and then he should be home for most of the day. We hope to go cut down our own Christmas tree Friday afternoon. Hannah's first word (other than momma and dadda) was pretty last year when we had the tree up so I think she will be excited!

Staying home is awesome for Thanksgiving. You won't regret it. I started the tradition a few years ago, and I love it. We usually host my MIL and FIL, but this year they're staying home as well. Christmas for us is crazy with trying to see a bunch of family, so it's nice to have Thanksgiving to ourselves. Plus both DH and I have to work on Friday.
JaD: Let me know how you like the iPhone 5. I'm planning on upgrading in the new year but I don't "know" anyone with the the iPhone 5. I have the 3GS right now. I can't wait for March.
My Mom is super excited for decorating for pretty much everything. I'm kind of a bit scared to see if she will try and decorate "our" living room. When it was my Dad's den it had 3 miniature Christmas tress and Santa bears and other various decor.
My grandfather got a bear and 2 deer and my brother got a deer. My uncle would have gotten 2 deer but his gun jammed up lol
I'm suddenly making a similar decision. Thinking I will mini-decorate as a way to just keep moving forward.
