Lows? Having to work yesterday. It was OT but I would've enjoyed the day off.
Read anything good? No
Watch anything good? No time for tv
Eat/make anything good? We went to Rangoli's by Arundel Mills. India's in Annapolis is still my favorite but this was a very close second!!
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments, etc? My sister got a job (finally!) and my mom is going to come up and watch the kids for 6 weeks during her orientation/training. I told DH and my sister that my mom cannot stay with us for those 6 weeks and everyone agreed. Last night at dinner, she asked if she could stay at our house two nights a week (when my sister is off) to give them family time. Which is BS because really, she just wants a break. It put us on the spot at dinner because we weren't expecting it. I didn't say no but I didn't say yes so it was awkward. My mom is BSC so I couldn't deal with her being around for 6 weeks, even if it is only two nights a week.
What are you looking forward to this week? Thanksgiving!! I work 8am - 4:30pm so I get to earn a ton of money (2.5x my regular pay) while DH does all the cooking. Not too shabby!
Highs - Got to see some friends and I went to see Breaking Dawn 2. Yes, it's my guilty pleasure. Finally got a haircut!
Lows - I tend to be a worrier and a planner. DH basically made fun of that (I was talking about all of the things that we have to do to get ready for T-Day). So I told him that I wasn't doing anything and he was basically in charge of Tday.
No reading.
Only watched the latest episode of Big Bang Theory. It was funny, but not particularly memorable. Saw "Breaking Dawn 2" this weekend and I liked it, but I thought it could have been a bit longer.
Eat anything? Went to DuClaw and and this AWESOME salted caramel-tini. Normally, I get this beer, but this was REALLY good. Buttery and warm and caramel-ly and salty and creamy. I should have had 2
FFC/AW.
DD slept from 7:30 until 6:30 PM TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW! AND she took an hour nap both days!
My FIL, SMIL and mom are all coming to our house and staying for 4 nights. I am semi-uncomfortable about FIL. He always insists on holding DD even when she doesn't want to be held. If I could afford it, I would put them up at a hotel.
I'm going to my HS reunion this weekend (after stopping in Frederick to go to a Bar Mitzvah). I am a little nervous about having IL's babysit DD while I am at the Bar Mitzvah. I'm also a bit nervous about leaving her alone for the 2nd time.
