Anyone have a barbie house?
Anyone have the Barbie 3 story townhouse? Or other Barbie house? Brinley wants one for Christmas, but the reviews say the house is junky. Of course she wants one of the Barbie ones because they're pink and purple and tacky.
I've tried to steer her towards some wooden ones, but she's blinded by the glitter. Any personal experiences?

I don't have one currently...but I do remember the barbie condo with elevator I had when I was little. The quality was less than stellar! (Cardboard back; elevator when up and down with a string, and always got caught up! Tipped easily.)
Is there any way you could get her a wooden one and then help her "hang wall paper" and decorate it up. You could get some fun sparkly scrapbook papers and help her cut and hang them. You could decorate the rooms differently. Then you could change it out as she gets older, too! It would be a fine motor activity you'd have to help her with and she'd have to grow into, but how fun would it be to play "Interior designer." Imagine the possibilities!

I had one of the huge all plastic ones when I was a kid (It was actually a hand me down and was 70's orange and yellow.) and the quality was actually very good.
