Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Elmo has resigned
Kevin Clash has resigned from Sesame Street after a second allegation about a relationship with an underage teen has come forward.
Elmo is Michael's favorite thing in the whole world. We'll have to make do with old Sesame Street episodes until they find someone else who can become Elmo.

This makes me sad. While Elmo is a beloved character that someone else can "do", I always had the impression that Kevin Clash was a good guy. I have seen interviews with him and other positive things he had done for charity as Elmo. I really don't want to think it is true. Maybe I am naive too.
