I am going to order some CDs from an Etsy seller. She is making me some AIOs (The rest of my stash are pockets). I get to choose the soaker fabric that will be sewn directly in to the diaper. Each diaper will also have a pocket for extra stuffing.
What kind of soaker would you get? Keep in mind I haven't used any CDs yet so I'm not sure what my DD would prefer...so I guess I am looking for a safe option that would work regardless. All soaker choices are the same price ($3.95).
Here is the listing for the diapers: http://www.etsy.com/listing/93567368/3-pk-os-cloth-diaper-aio-ai2-pocket

There is also a stay-dry soaker option not listed - I imagine this is similar to the microterry inserts I have with my other pockets.
The seller recommended the bamboo soaker if I go with natural fibers instead of stay-dry...would sherpa or velour be a better topper for the bamboo? I'm wondering which would have more of a stay-dry feel.
Also, would you get double gussets added or is one gusset enough?
Re: CD moms, I need help choosing!
I am not going to be any help with soaker options because we either use pockets or fitteds w/ a cover. I think the CD board on the bump can help you with the different materials.
Also, I would be hesitant to have diapers made until I saw how the different materials (cotton, microfiber, bamboo) reacted on my baby's skin. J has no issues with any materials but I know some babies have sensitivities to microfiber.

Thanks, Jen!
I ended up getting 2 bamboo and 1 hemp soaker. The seller is going to top them with an athletic wicking fabric so the moisture stays off DD's bum.
