If we build, could we still do USDA?
We live in an extremely rural county where just about every property qualifies for USDA (our lender's words, not ours) and we meet the income requirements. But is USDA only good on already existing properties? We're tossing around the possibility of building, but would that be possible to do USDA?

Re: If we build, could we still do USDA?
I just got done building my house in TX and we did a USDA loan. It was such an easy process and not alot of paperwork which is very nice too. I think the only issue we had was that we didnt want to pay a closing costs, Our builder was willing to cover them only to a certin point. We had to change lenders due to them not wanting to cover it all from them. Good luck!
