Theme party ideas for husband's birthday

Hi all! I am planning on throwing a theme party for my husband's birthday, but we need a theme. The crowd will be young professionals (late 20s early 30s) who enjoy social gatherings. Any ideas? I would do an 80s theme, but we just went to one at another friend's home. Thanks so much!

i just threw my dh a beer tasting party and it was a blast. we called it ourlastname fest.

a friend a few weeks ago had a mad men cocktail party and that was a really great idea too.

wine tasting is another favorite of mine. 

you could also do a roast. we did one for my dad for his 60th and it was hilarious.

What about a 50's bowling party? Or a "nintendo" party...have whichever console you might have set up (or borrow) with some multiplayer easy to jump in and out type games,  ask people to dress up as videogame charactures, get pac man napkins etc. Sounds like a 20 somthing guys dream party to me.

How about a casino themed party. Blackjack, Texas Hold em, etc. Check craigslist because there are companies that will bring in all the tables, cards, chips, dealers, etc. and all you would have to worry about is decor and food. Google casino themed parties for ideas.

Vegas - set up a couple tables (one for blackjack and one for poker), serve a buffet, rent a slot machine, etc.  We did this for my friends surprise 30th at my house and it was a blast!

Roaring 20's - if it's a small group, maybe even a murder mystery!

90's - like for sure, dude.

Fake mustache - give everyone (male and female) a fake mustache to wear as they enter

Roast - have friends get up and roast the bday boy (only if he's up for it!)
