I just got back from a great Thanksgiving with my grandparents, who I have not spent the holidays with in over 5 years because they live on the other side of the mountains, and normally roads are closed this time of year, but we were lucky this year with sunny skies and clear roads.
So I thought I'd have a post-thanksgiving poll to wrap up on everyone's holiday. If you didn't celebrate it, then just tell me how your week was in general.

My nephew is 2 mths and is absolutely in love with me. This is not a joke, he will only take a bottle from me, he giggles the second he is in my lap, and never cries with me. So I was holding him on my lap in front of my MIL, GMIL, SIL and Aunt IL and he who is usually calm and never moves. Well I went to lift him up by putting my hand under his back and went to move my hand to his head and he kicked me in the stomach so hard that he pushed his head off my lap and I had to catch him 4 second after his head moved off my lap. I felt so embarrassed and bad bc I always support his neck but he caught me so off guard by kicking it just happened.

What is your funniest/most embarrassing Thanksgiving story?
I got drunk last year and slurringly told my husband we should have wild drunken sex. Luckily we were alone, but he loves to repeat that story!
What were/are you thankful for?
My husband, my cat, my friends, and our recently-purchased home. I'm very thankful that we're financially stable enough to be able to have (almost) everything I've ever wanted as an adult (still don't have kids yet!).
That is a hilarious story! I have a friend that had to be on sleeping pills because she has severe insomnia, and apparently one night she ripped off her clothes and "attacked" her boyfriend. She doesn't remember a thing and still can't believe she did that because she is normally very modest. lol
And I totally hear you about being thankful for being where you want to be as an adult. I always knew how I wanted my life to go, but as I got older I never could've imagined that at 21 I would be a homeowner and married to the love of my life, as well as a college grad. I still don't have kids either, but I'm hoping that will come very soon, like within the next year.
