You know those winter Christmas villages? I decided to start one since Michael's was having a 50% off sale on everything holiday/winter. I got a Bed and Breakfast to start with and every year I will buy an additional house. They are so sweet and I just want to buy them all but I will hold out to getting one a year...unless there is a sale :-D

    we have a snow village! my grandmother has a huge one and my sisters and I started one for my mom when we were growing up...but then she moved to NC and decided she didn't want it and split all the houses up between us girls.

    its one of my favorite things to set up

    I have a village! It was my grandparents.  I love it.  I think buying a new one each year will be a great tradition!

    H's grandparents had one, but they recently downsized and decided to get rid of a bunch of things, including the village.  They made a lot of money selling the pieces on eBay!

    I love the looks of them and keep thinking about doing one.  I did get 1 house as a gift but can't remember what it is.  Hopefully this year I remember to buy another and start a tradition.  Seeing these posts makes me want to do it to pass down the generations.

    Ugh, H is being a PITA about it and making me change all the bulbs to LED lights because he said 6 watts per house is a major waste. Seriously dude?!?!
