informal poll: What new cookware would you want?

My sister loves to cook and I want to get her some sort of new cookware for Christmas.  I know its hard because obviously you gals don't know her, but just as a little informal poll, if you could get anything, what would you like to get for Christmas as a new addition to you kitchen cookware?

  • Does she have good pots & pans? My all clad SS saute pan (10 or 12 inch maybe?) is my favorite thing... not sure how much you want to spend.

Hmm, she doesn't have a complete set of nice ones I know for sure. 10 or 12 inch is the most versatile? Thats a great idea! :)

  • that's hard to say. what does she already have?
Friday, December 28 2012. The day I had emergency appendix surgery in Mexico and quit smoking. Proof that everything has a good side!! DH and I are happily child-free!! No due date or toddler tickers here!! my read shelf:
Alison's book recommendations, favorite quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)
  • Well, my sister still lives with my mom, so she has all my mom's stuff, but my mom isn't that into cooking, so a lot of her cookware isn't the highest quality.  So I want to get her one or two things that are good quality that she can enjoy using.  I guess almost anything!

So, since you have no idea what she has/doesn't have, I was curious just as to what you personally would want for Christmas if someone was getting you cookware.  Just to throw some ideas out there. :)
