Company Holiday Party Ideas on a budget?
My husband is in charge of planning his company's holiday party. He runs a popular chain restaurant with 21 employees, and they have given him a budget of ~$15/person for their holiday party. Important thing to note - there can not be alcohol at this party (boo, right?). All we can think of is bowling, which seems kind of boring, but he doesn't just want to order food and have everyone stand around for 2 hours in the restaurant (which is what they did last year when he was not in charge). I don't know if there are other indoor activities that we could do for that budget, or if there are activities that we could do in the restaurant to make it a little more fun. Any ideas??
Re: Company Holiday Party Ideas on a budget?
What's the age group of people attending? I like the photo booth idea if at a restaurant.
Bowling, laser tag, whirley ball or go carts, horse race track, dinner theater, comedy club, Murder Mystery Dinner
Maybe he could rent out a movie theater and play a Christmas movie like Elf. You could serve soda, gourmet popcorn (I've seen bacon caramel corn), nachos, and boxes of movie candy. There could be a door prize with something silly, like a Christmas sweater, as the prize. Or nice prize for best holiday outfit or something.
If a movie theater is out of the budget, you could get one of those big projectors and play the movie at the restaurant. That would actually be really fun. And probably people could bring their families, too, since it wouldn't be very expensive.
