I think I've finalized what I'll be making this year.

  • I typically do the same cookies every year.

Butter Nut Balls ( aka snowballs)

    Spritz Cookies

Nana's Tea Cakes (sorta like a sugar/shortbread cookie)

    Thumb Cookies with jelly

    Peanut Butter Fudge

  • No "holiday" baking for me, (I am a Jehovah's Witness) but baking all month reminds me of baking when my mom when I was little. This is what I'll be making:

Chocolate Chip banana nut bread (4 loaves- 3 to homeless shelters, 1 to my office)

No-bake peanut butter chocolate oatmeal cookies (6 dozen - donated to various shelters)

Triple chocolate cake (for my office)

Chocolate pecan pie bars (just for me and DH)

Chocolate sheet cake (for the office)

  • We have a cookie swap at work right before Christmas. Last year 23 people participated in the swap. So at the end I had 23 different cookies. This year for the swap I will make peanut butter and jelly cookies.

  • I host an annual cookie exchange and this year I am making turtle cookies and rolo stuffed sugar cookies.

I will also be making a pumpkin cheesecake, Hersey kiss stuffed chocolate chips and possibly a red velvet bundt cake and oreo truffles.
