Christmas Movies

Watching Ruldoph on TV tonight got me thinking.... What are your favorite Christmas movies?

Re: Christmas Movies

  • Charlie Brown Christmas is one of my favorites. I also love the old claymation Rudolph and Frosty. Elf is also good but I get sick of it by the end of the season because everyone is always watching it or quoting it.
  • I love Christmas Movies. I'm not much of a corny, sappy movie person but really enjoy mindlessly watching the Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas movies.

My all time favorite Christmas Movies are:

It's a Wonderful Life ( got to see this at the movie theater last year and it was great!)

How the Grinch Stole Christmas ( animated version)

    Charlie Brown Christmas

    Rudolph (claymation one)

    Elf

    The Muppet Christmas Carol

Love Actually ( going on a date to see this in the park on saterday weather permitting. So excited!)

  • I love watching the Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas movies as well!

I'm not sure I can pick a favorite out!  So far this season, I've watched:

    • Rudolph (claymation one)
    • Miracle on 34th Street
    • National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

I also love watching the Santa Claus movies, Home Alone movies (haven't watched those in FOREVER!), and Elf,

I'll be DVRing some of the Hallmark and LIfetime movies this year as well!  I also got some Christmas movies for Christmas last year that I need to watch.

  • I love Christmas movies (the cheesier the better) ha!

As a kid, I loved the original Fosty, so that's still a favorite.. Elf, Home Alone (just watched that the other night), Miracle on 34th St, The Santa Clause (the first one...). I'm sure I could go on & on. :)

  • I'm also a sucker for cheesy Christmas movies on TV. My favourite Christmas movie from Hollywood though is probably Love Actually.
  • ditto to National Lampoon, I got the moose mugs for x-mas last year :)
