They know me at Dunkin Donuts
I stop by Dunkin Donuts a few times a week on my way to work for my breakfast of coffee and a bagel. I get the same exact thing every time. Recently, one of the cashiers learned my order and when I get up to the register, she repeats it back to me as she's entering it into the register. This morning, I got to the register and my order was already punched in and she was already pouring my coffee. I definitely appreciate the great customer service (from her, and really everyone else there too) but at the same time...what if I want to order something else someday?? This has happened to me before at other places and I always feel kind of bad when I change up my order. I should really just stop getting breakfast there so often because it's such a money suck. But I love their coffee!

Our Starbucks at work knows I drink chai tea so they often have it ready by the time I pay.
Before we got married, DH and I were doing well with eating right and working out. Robek's knew we got the acai energizer and would start making it when we walked in the door.
I agree it can be awkward if you wanted something else but over all, I think it's good customer service.
