Doctor visit update

Well doctor told me yesterday that I need to actively TTC and if I can't get pregnant in 6 months than ill need surgery. And if I put off TTC, I risk needing surgery to get pregnant when I am ready as well as risking permanent damage from my endometriosis. So TTC it is!
I'm very nervous about the process ad how long it will take. I hope I get lucky and get pregnant right away, though I don't see that happening, but at long as I'm pregnant in six months so that I don't have to get the surgery, then I'm fine. Wish me luck!
Anyone have any useful advice on how to increase my chances of getting pregnant? TIA

Glad to hear that everything is ok for now. Good luck with TTC and I hope the process is very short!
I guess my only advice would be to check out the Getting Pregnant board if you havent already!
I'm on the Bump also. We've been TTC since Feb 2010, I have no advice other than to chart/temp to confirm if and when you're ovulating.
(I've tried it all: pineapple core, acupuncture, robitussin, herbal teas, etc etc and hasn't worked) so the best thing to do is BD during fertile window. Keep in mind that there's 20% chance of conceviing each month...

My cousin has very bad endometriosis. Very bad. With previous surgeries. Even after the surgery they told her she would most likely not get pregnant and that it was likely to be ectopic if she did. She and her DH decided they didn't need BC anymore.
She's now 4 months pregnant with a perfectly healthy honeymoon baby

Thats an amazing story! Thank you. I know I just need to relax an trust that it'll happen. I guess I need to learn some patience.
I think patience and faith go a long way. It took me 11 months to get pregnant. I spent most of those months crying over negative tests. Then I just stopped. I said oh well I'll just wait and when we hit a year, we'll get tested to see if there's an issue. I got pregnant that month. Now I look back and realize it had to take that long because the son I have is the one I was meant to have. I just had to wait for him to decide it was time to show up. Babies do call all of the shots you know, even before they're born
