We are putting in for a different island for our trip since we havent heard back about Aruba yet. Im so worried our trip is going to be a disaster since we might be going to a totally different island. If DH gets lost his first instinct is to lash out at me because he always expects me to know all the answers and to fix to all his problems. I dont care how much it costs, Im buying the map for Puerto Rico and downloading it onto our GPS if its not availible already so it dosent happen.
I feel like a total brat even complaining about a free stay in a 5 star hotel in a tropical country.
This is awful...
My best friend is in a seriously abusive relationship. Her girlfriend is physically, verbally and emotionally abusive. Two weeks ago she punched her in the head and tried, twice, to run her over with her car. They break up every other week but my friend always ends up going back to her. I've tried to help her but it's been a year of this and she will say that she's leaving her girlfriend but then end up moving back in. It's exhausting. I've tried every single thing I could possibly think of but you can't help someone who doesn't want help. I'm so worried that something really bad is going to happen to her because each time they get in a physical fight, it gets worse.
amcourt - That IS awful! Is her family doing anything about it?
