AW: It's our semi-anniversary
Today is DH and I's 5 year dating anniversary. We have been married two and a half years. I made him breakfast in bed (just cinnamon rolls with some eggs and milk, nothing fancy). And then on the way to work he called a radio station and begged them to play a song for me!! It was "Woman like you" by lee brice. We have church tonight so we can't do anything special, and we are buying a house, and just had our cat declawed, AND his car broke down last week so we are broke. But just the fact that he would do that for me is so sweet!
Re: AW: It's our semi-anniversary
That's so sweet! What an awesome man you have.
And good luck with the house! We just bought ours in May.
So I guess the five year anniversary is kind of a half way point. 2 1/2 years dating and 2 1/2 years married, right?
That pretty neat. It would be something I would like to reflect on. My husband and I got married on our 7 year dating anniversary. So, maybe on our 7 wedding anniversary we can do a fun compare/contrast of dating years versus married years.
It is sweet to make an extra effort to do something nice for each other in celebration of an important day.
Yes and good luck with your new home! We purchased our home while still engaged in Summer of 2011.
