So does anyone have this new roomba? The one that vacuums hard floors and rugs? I was thinking of getting one, but they're so expensive. I wanted to know, is it worth it????
Re: ROOMBA?
honestly i think between being mezmerized by watching it, and worrying about it crashing into things, and trying to walk around it ---- its faster and cheaper to just plain vacuum the house. and get some physical activity in while you're at it.
we've got about 1500sqft of carpet in our house and it literally takes me 10-15 minutes to do the whole house. the only PITA part is the stairs and a roomba would be useless there anyway. for me - i can easily find 10-15 minutes in my week/month to vacuum, so a roomba really isn't worth it.
