Re: FFFC's anyone?
DD has been seeing the boxes that have been delivered to our house and asks DH what's inside and he tells her presents for her cousins. This morning she saw a pile of them in DS's room. We put them in there with the intent of going through them last night since DS was away but never did. I'm sure she isn't questioning the existence of Santa but it still has me feeling really guilty. Next year we will have to have them delivered somewhere else.
Another one is that I've been looking so frumpy lately and really need to snap out of it. I got my hair cut so it's too short to wear in a ponytail so I've been wearing pigtails and I know it looks ridiculous. Granted, they are in the back and very low but still.
I caught DS's cold which is annoying but it's really not that bad. The thing is, I'm freezing cold all the time. It'll be 75 in our house and I'm looking for a sweatshirt and a big blanket. Also, I really hope DH doesn't catch this cold. I hate when he's sick.
My dining room table can only stay clean for 0.01 seconds before it's piled full of stuff again. I need to clear it off tonight so when my parents come over tomorrow they will a) have a place to eat dinner, and b) not judge my messiness.

Friday Flame Free Confession
oh - hi - welcome to my world.
E can have a slice of bread in her room if she's hungry and she keeps a water cup in there. I've let her sleep in regular clothes more than once just b/c I didn't want the pajama thing to turn into a fight - and now she's back to wearing PJs (most) of the time. Our bedtime routine used to take 20ish minutes - now I'm LUCKY if its under 45. Instead of waiting for her to pick books (after she's finished playing and arguing about PJs or not taking off her underwear, etc.) I just pick up books and start reading.
