Christmas presents question

So this year my sweet little daughter has been telling me that she wants an actual crocodile for Christmas. I have no idea how or why she would came up with this. But it makes me laugh so much.

But what were some of the things you asked for Christmas when you were younger?

Re: Christmas presents question

  • Well, one year I wanted feathers. Ha ha!
  • That's so funny! I wonder where she came up with that? Cooper was obsessed with planting carrots for a long time. He would always ask me if we could plant carrots in the backyard and I had no idea why he wanted to do that. And then I saw an episode of Curious George where he planted a garden and it all made sense.
  • I remember asking for an easy bake oven one year and was very excited when I got it.

When I was about 11 or 12 I asked my aunt for a perm for Christmas. Up until that point I had a perm in my hair since I was about 4. This was the last perm I had ever received since it didn't actually take. Horrible!

  • That's funny! Are you going to get her anything crocodile-related?

She is going to get a toy crocodile in her stocking.

Her fascination might come from the song that she has been singing all week about monkeys in a tree teasing a crocodile and then the crocodile eats them. Really morbid song. She learned it at school.
