Cookie Dough

Hi - I'm wanting to make snickerdoodle cookies and eggnog cookies from scratch. When I make the cookie dough, do I have to use it all at once? Would I be able to refrigerate or freeze the cookie dough? If so, how long would it last? Thanks!

Re: Cookie Dough

  • Freezing is best because it wont change the texture of the cookie. Drop the cookie dough on a baking sheet and then stick the whole thing in the freezer for 20 minutes, then take all of the balls out and place them in a ziploc. Store in freezer for up to 3 months!

Awesome!!  Thanks so much!   I'm assuming then, you just bake them from the frozen state, or do you need to thaw them out?
