I need some good vibes from you ladies! Several years ago my mom broke her ankle in 3 places and had pins put into her ankle, it never completely got better. In late September she woke up one morning and was not able to put any weight on it. They tested her and they were not sure if she had an infection in the ankle or not as her counts were between normal and an infection. They also found she had sever arthritis in her ankle and no cartilage in the ankle and would need surgery when she was done with the anti-biotics. They placed her on a 6 week anti-biotic schedule. This made her sick and so she couldn't keep food down and then her kidney levels got high and on Halloween was placed back into the hospital and was found to also have a kidney stone and had to go in for surgery right away. Due to the levels of her kidney function they took her off the anti-biotics a week early. So two weeks ago she was going to have the surgery well due to the insurance she had they would not approve it as inpatient and it is normally a 3 day inpatient. Since my dad left his job she was going to have medicare the following week so they put the surgery off one week (last week). Last Friday they cancelled the surgery due to she may have another infection. All last week she was going for tests and a bone scan. After we called the doctor one of the office they stated the results are in but no doctor is in to give us the results, so hopefully tomorrow she will get the results. Just please pray that she has good results! TIA
