New project
I came across this idea and decided to do it since Joann's was having a 50% off sale and free shipping deal online on all holiday fabrics. I hate wrapping odd shaped gifts and wasting paper/bows so I'm going to make a bunch of these bags in all different colors and sizes and put presents in bags we can reuse every year. Then I will get those wooden hearts and spray paint them with chalkboard paint to write the names on the bags. Eventually all our kids can take bags when they get older and make it part of their own tradition.
I just ordered 12 yards of different holiday fabric.

I definitely think some things will still need to wrapped because I'm not planning on making bags that are humongous but I kind of see these bags no different than paper bags stuffed with paper tissues. Just less clean up and being a little more "green"!
