What will they say about us?

I was reading this article that's been circulating on Facebook:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/amy-morrison/motherhood_b_2271349.html

It's funny, and true... and it got me wondering which of our parenting practices our children will think were barbaric when they grow up.

Like, "my mom used to make me sleep in this playpen with a cardboard mattress on my back till my hair rubbed off."

  • I loved that article.  And I have to admit, I nearly had a heart attack at the thought of leaving sleeping babies outside of a grocery store...can you imagine???

I can't even imagine how you go about your grocery shopping like it's no big deal your baby is OUTSIDE unattended.

I really liked the article.  I can be really hard on myself when it comes to mom stuff and this put it all in perspective for me.
