It's Friday!! weekend plans?
Happy Friday!! What's everyone up to this weekend?
Tonight: Jake's Christmas play for school, I'm so excited
Sat: Lunch with Santa in the morning, no afternoon plans, then I'm doing a cookie exchange in the evening with some friends.
Sun: grocery shopping in the morning for me, Brian wants to mow the lawn one last time and do a final leaf clean up in the yard in the afternoon. Steelers game and dinner.
Re: It's Friday!! weekend plans?
Tonight:it's parents night out at daycare so dd will be there which coincided with DH's work holiday party. So we are going to that. Should be fun since we are friends with some of the people he works with
saturday: dog has her last training class in the morning. Dd's big girl mattress that we are setting up for Christmas is being delivered sometime so we will have that 2 hour window of time to wait around. Not sure what else we will do maybe make cookies. Dd's good friend from daycare is moving away so we may work on a craft present for he
sunday: groceries and Zumba and doing whatever we didn't do on Saturday.
It's an MIL visit weekend, so my goal while we are at her house is to enjoy time with the kids and do some of the freelance work that has been pushed aside by the holidays when they are playing. I'm also debating whether to knit a last minute pair of wristers for Heather's teacher for the holidays.
Sunday I would really like to go see the Nutcracker as a family, but I'm worried that we wouldn't have enough weekend downtime and I wouldn't have enough time to get things done. I need to buy a few gift cards and some tape for wrapping, meal plan, grocery shop, tidy and work on the wrapping. Although most of the wrapping I need to do is for the kids, so that will be after they are asleep! I also need to wash the comforter for Todd's big bed without him or Heather seeing it...
Overall, my to do list isn't freaking me out too badly...but I know that next week is going to be really busy. So maybe the Nutcracker will wait until the 29th or 30th.
Tonight - Noah has basketball practice at 6. So we'll do that and have dinner.
Tomorrow - we're going downtown in the morning for a carriage ride, see Santa and to ice skate at PPG. Noah's been taking some "learn to skate" lessons, so it will be so much more fun with him this year. Last year I had to basically hold him up around the rink. I LOVE to iceskate and I can't wait to get out there and skate with my dudes. Noah has a basketball game later in the day and we'll get our tree.
Sunday - I'm thinking I am going to come in to work in the morning. BOO! But, we have tons of applications, our deadline is tomorrow and I know I'm not going to get them all done today. And I want to have a more relaxing week next week, which coming in on Sunday could help with. We'll decorate the tree.
PAJAMA TIME!!
Jake - 1.15.08
Liam - 5.17.11
exactly! one of those shower and get back into pajamas weekends.
TGIF!
Tonight: I work coat check at the hotel, which means I get a few hours of reading time.
Saturday: DH might be working in the a.m., so I'll take the boys grocery shopping and have them do some Christmas crafts while I get out the carseat to clean and wrap relative gifts. In the evening, I work coat check again - last shift until next Spring, I think!
Sunday: family day - aka: run around and get ready for Mom to visit (hang curtains and blinds, finish cleaning the garage so I can finish cleaning the den - aka: Mom's room) and baby to come.
While Santa is done wrapping, the kids' gifts from the grandparetns and DH and I still need wrapped, so that will be a post-bed time job!
My three sons!
Tonight is the usual order in and DVR catch up.
Saturday morning we are going to a b-day party at Reilly's. Saturday night we are going to Kennywood.
Sunday is a lazy day at home. We're baking Christmas cookies, wrapping presents, watching the game, the Survivor finale, and Ashley and JP's wedding!
I'm off on Monday too, yay for 3 day weekends!
Tonight-If I get out of work at a decent time, I want to run to Anthropologie and return a jacket I bought. Then maybe grab some take-out since Nathan worked at 4:30 this morning.
Saturday-Get up early and go to pick up whiskey at Wigles in the Strip for Christmas gifts. Then go home and clean and put up the tree.
Sunday-I need to go to the mall but the thoughts of going on Sunday make me want to cry. So I may just bake cookies and then go to the mall after work next week.
Tonight - just hanging out at home with Gary & the boys
Tomorrow - annual cookie baking day at my mom's house with my cousins, aunt & SIL. After that we are attempting to take all 4 dogs (ours, SIL's & my parents) to K-Mart to get their picture taken, which should be a trip!
Sunday - no real plans, maybe try to get a few good pictures of the kids with the dogs & the tree.
Tonight: I fell asleep on the couch at 8 and just woke up.
Tomorrow: Finishing up Christmas shopping and some other errands, then maybe a friend's Christmas party if I feel up to it.
Sunday: Dinner at friends' house.
