What to get a 3 month old?
What would you suggest getting a 3 month old girl for Christmas? She has a 3 year old sister so they already have a ton of toys and clothes. Maybe an ornament?
Re: What to get a 3 month old?
I'm all about practical gifts, so I would probably get a teether or a small rattle, ornament would be good too.
You could also get her an outfit for when she's older.
Books are one of my go-tos. Even if they have a bunch for the 3-year old, "baby" books can get easily destroyed and often need to be replaced when new babies come into the family. Mia was a huge fan of life-the-flap books, but inevitably, the flaps all disappeared. I'll have to buy Liam a new set. That, and I think it's nice for each kid to have their own library of books. I just give a gift receipt if I'm not sure what the kids already have.
ETA: Indestructibles are good, too. They're books that can't be ripped and are even safe in a bath tub. I bought a set before Liam was even born because they sounded so cool. (http://www.indestructiblesinc.com/ )
And the lift-the-flap books that were a huge hit were all by Karen Katz.
