WTF Motivation - where are you?! I think you're hiding with my Christmas spirit!

Re: WTF Wednesday
Same thing happened last week and when I called they told me that they dont need me to come in unless it got heavy or constant. It was just a little more pink overnight but nothing heavy. Realistically tough, even if something was happening there is nothing they can do at this stage.
WTF - whyyy am I back in work-limbo? I just want, in writing, the concrete plan for when I come back. I'm so stressed out over this.
Jeez they are really d!cking you around!
They really are. I asked last week for them to put it in writing because my approval was simply verbal and I didn't trust it. They never did put it in writing so I did and gave it to them to sign at their weekly meeting yesterday. Now they said that there are some things that they need to re-consider and that they'll get back to me. My due date is one month from tomorrow. I have been asking for this for months now. I don't understand the hold up. It's really frustrating.
1. good for you for wanting to get it in writing!
2. Sounds like they were going to d!ck you around even worse because it wasn't in writing... thus needing to reconsider!
Companies can be horrible sometimes. You should send them an e-mail reminder where you put in there that you know you had a verbal agreement but you would like to get it in writing etc. This way if anything comes of it, you have some kind of proof that you at least had a verbal agreement.
