What is the first Christmas present you ever gave DH? I have no idea, is that bad?? I know the first present I ever gave him was an ipod but that was for his birthday.
What was the first Christmas present you remember getting? I have no idea!! Holy cow! My first gift from him was footie pajamas. There is an inside joke there.
What has been your favorite Christmas gift you have received so far?My dooney & bourke bag :-) he has such good taste.
Do you have any idea what DH is getting you for Christmas this year? Better be a damn jewelry box bc I flat out listed that and sent him links.
Do you have a favorite holiday tradition(s) or a really funny holiday story?No favorite traditions. The best holiday story I have it on Christmas eve my sister took a pregnancy test and it came up positive. She was a week late and wanted me there to take it and waaallaaa there's my nephew! We told the whole family that night.

That is a great story! I thought about testing on Christmas, but even if it's positive, I want to wait until the first ultrasound to tell anyone but my H.
And I love your response to the 4th question! My H is one of those that would buy something else just because I asked for something specific. He's just a brat like that. lol
What was the first Christmas present you remember getting? I have no idea, I honestly have the WORST memory when it comes to things like that.
What has been your favorite Christmas gift you have received so far? Our dog Mika
We got her 12/17/2010, so she was my early present!
Do you have any idea what DH is getting you for Christmas this year? No idea at all. He is so excited for me to open it too! I'm getting anxious to see what he got me, it's in a big box under the tree and almost every night he asks me if I'm excited to see what it is haha
Do you have a favorite holiday tradition(s) or a really funny holiday story? My family is very into the Christmas holiday. We are Scandinavian so we open all of our presents Christmas Eve, and I always loved that we were special and got to open them early when all my friends had to wait until the next day
DH and I have continued the tradition and I cannot wait to have our own children so that they can experience the excitement as well! Also, when we were younger one of the male family members would dress up as santa and stop by our house right before we would start opening our gifts. We felt so special to have santa stop at our house when he was so busy!
Usually DH doesn't remember anything I mention gift wise. But, I actually asked him numerous times about a jewelry box and mentioned how I need it and want it for xmas. I've even said I hope one of those gifts is my jewelry box. So if I don't get it he is in big trouble. haha

What a great tradition!
And is it just your family that's from Scandanavia, or have you/do you live there?
I have a lot of Swedish in my heritage, and would love to go visit Sweden one day.
What is the first Christmas present you ever gave DH?
Oh, gosh, it's been so long. I'm really not sure.... Oh! I remember. I got him a bunch of silly little gifts that I won at the Adventure Landing arcade.
What was the first Christmas present you remember getting?
Maybe an I SPY book.
What has been your favorite Christmas gift you have received so far?
Hubby really hates getting gifts and I know it takes a lot for him to try and put thought into a gift, so anything he's given me.
Do you have any idea what DH is getting you for Christmas this year?
Probably nothing. lol He doesn't even know I'm getting him a little something.
Do you have a favorite holiday tradition(s) or a really funny holiday story?
One of my favorite holiday traditions is how the kids in the family get to pick out an ornament every year and then when they grow up and move away they get to take them home for their tree.
That's a really cool tradition.
I have a few ornaments that were hand-made by my Grammie. She gave them to me the year before she passed away.

I believe the first one was tickets to a Huey Lewis and the News concert. When we went people were commenting we were too young to be there. lol

He got me two turtles.

Our son
He was born 6 days before Christmas last year. My due date was Christmas day.
Do you have any idea what DH is getting you for Christmas this year?
Yeah. We're awful at keeping things we get for each other secret. He got me a ring, earrings, and a hair styling tool. I gave him a sound bar for the TV and I'm going to get him some of his favorite candy.
Do you have a favorite holiday tradition(s) or a really funny holiday story?
I love watching the movie A Christmas Story/ Funny story- DH and I started dating on Christmas day. A year later on Christmas he made me unwrap and act excited in front of his parents about the ring he got me for our 1 yr anniversary. It was a little awkward. lol.
What is the first Christmas present you ever gave DH? Ummm... I honestly don't remember. I'm not sure he does either.
What was the first Christmas present you remember getting? Don't know. I remember a lot of gifts but don't know what one came first. One year I got a Barbie movie theater. It was awesome!
What has been your favorite Christmas gift you have received so far? Hmmm... I'm lousy at this poll.
Do you have any idea what DH is getting you for Christmas this year? Yes. He is horrible at Christmas gift shopping in that he's clueless and waits til the last minute. He always gets me wonderful things that I love. He took me window shopping one day so he could find out what I want.
Do you have a favorite holiday tradition(s) or a really funny holiday story? Do a weekend long cookie bake with a bunch of ladies every year. Our advent calendar. Watching Christmas movies at Alamo Daft House. Decorating the tree. None of these are really exciting. I just enjoy them.
one year I went to a shadier part of town, not hard to do here, and was so nervousness I forgot to pull the e brake. I came out of the store to find no car in the spot I parked but a different one! After looking around it had rolled back and turned to where it was straightened out. It hit no cars and no cars hit it! I was so embarrassed! I just hoped in and drove off. Then the next place I went for Hs next gift I slipped and banged up my bad knee. I was on crutches for a couple of days I bruised it pretty bad. I was limping all of December. H and I laugh about that day.
Haha that is a funny story. So did you know he had gotten you the ring?
Omg how scary! My senior year of high school one of my friends grabbed my keys out of my purse and moved my car to the other end of the parking lot then sneakily put y keys back in my purse. I got so confused, and when I finally did see my car I hesitated to go to it thinking it was someone else's. Then my friend started busting up and I realized what she had done. Lol
