6 months later........we FINALLLY have a closing date!!!!
So we put an offer in on a house in June.....We were supposed to orginally close Aug. 9th but that kept getting pushed back because the maintence company in charge of maintaing the property for HUD kept standing us up for getting the water turned on....then at the end of August we found out that there had been a lien put on all the HUD homes in our area....and that did not get resolved until the end of November....so by then we had to have another appraisal done because the other one had since expired.....and now we FINALLY have a closing date set for next Monday.....it has been a long process but glad we are near the end...now I just have to pray that there are no more "hiccups" and that we are able to close on the date scheduled!
