On Friday our office will get together for a Holiday Get Together, and we all have to bring a $25 gift for an exchange. Any ideas what I can bring? TIA
Re: $25 Gift Ideas
Assuming it has to be a co-ed idea. Alcohol, Movie Tickets attached to some candy, Gift Card, Lottery Tickets, Blanket, Etc..... $25 is a decent amount to spend, so you should be able to get something good. Have fun!
Side Note: I heard of someone who brought a thing of toilet paper and paper towels. They went over big b/c everyone hates to buy that stuff!
Seems like people always fight over Starbucks gift cards.
Ditto booze and candy.
Tools go over well here, and carrying cases for tools.
Also, please get something that you wouldn't mind receiving yourself. I'm so sick of getting junk at gift exchanges. I was at one a few days ago and ended up with a bunch of random crap from the thrift store- price tags still attached so I know they went over there special just to get crap for the exchange.
Thanks for the ideas. We are not allowed to buy alcohol or gift cards. I was thinking of maybe getting a movie, or 2 along with some candy or popcorn.
For a movie night at home.
Totally agree with not buying junk. Last year I made a 'beauty bag.' I bought some nail polish, nail file, hair feather (it was really popular last year). I think there was something else in it also? But this year I want to make it co-ed.
Not sure where you live, but in my area the local recreation dept sells movie tickets for $8.00 a piece. If they have it where you are, you could buy two tickets along with a bucket of candy and popcorn stuff as a theme. Just an idea for a neutral gift, and I would think many would enjoy!
Oh, or would that count as a gc? I don't think so, but others may?!?!?
