Hi ladies!!! Happy holidays!!
I just wanted to say how annoyed I am at some of the comments that some of the ladies make on theses boards.
I understand that its public, and everyone has a freedom of speech, and the right to ther opinion but what happen to good old fashion common sense?
I was going through some of the older post this morning and it surprised me how many negative people are on here. I also understand that there are some women that ask for advice but some are here just to vent and dont care about the opinion of others, almost like a public diary. What digusted me was comments left after the women poured there hearts out about there boyfriend, husband, family member, or friend. Women telling these strangers to leave there husband and count your losses, and to hell with your mother father or best friend. Its disgusting!!! We are all strangers and we only know what we tell each other on these boards so in reality we dont know each other at all!
I do know that all relationships even if your on here pretending everyday that your so happy and your life is so perfect, and nothing ever goes wrong in my life, that its not perfect 24/7. I too get upset with my husband, and friends , even my mom is a pain sometimes, so I get on public forums and talk about it like we've all been the best of friends forever, but I dont know any of you so I personally would be offended to read your husband is sorry, or your best friends a whore, and your mom and dad sucks. So to all the women, and men who go to public forums already mad at the world and see that someone is hurting or sad for whatever reason,PLEASE try and be a little more sensitive to peoples family and friends and there feelings and stop being so damn rude!!

There have been about a million and one posts just like yours. Trust me...it will never stop. I have been bitchy..and I have stopped myself from being bitchy..and I have completely stopped myself from replying to a post because I had absolutely nothing nice to say. I have kept my life semi private because I do not want these ladies commenting on it. I truly do not care to hear their opinion. And this is because I know this is the internet...people will speak their minds and the best way to keep opinions that you do not care to hear is just keep your own life out of it. I won't even vent about mind. Any vents I have go directly to my husband. He is the only human being I know that won't make me feel bad about it. People on here do not owe anyone a thing.
If anyone wants a diary, they can write in a freaking diary. Making it public on the internet is to invite any and all commentary.
Also, these boards are nearly dead. Hence, a lot less flaming than people used to get. Pity, since some posts richly deserve it.

I agree. If people can't handle the response they might get from people on this board, then maybe they should not be posting in a public forum. Do you honestly expect people to sugar coat their response when others come here to post that their spouse is cheating, abusive, or any number of situations that get posted here? Some of the responders may have found themselves in similar situations, so you will find their response based on their own experience. And they are genuinely trying to help. So again, if you can post on here, vent, or what have you, on this board, be prepared to accept the response like a big girl.
TL;DR. Too long; didn't read. How's that for rude? How about learn the difference between your and you're, and there, they're, and thier.

I do have my own opinions, but I am also allowed to agree with others. I think for you to come on here and put people on blast for telling it like it is is not only ridiculous, but shows you have serious issues. Can't handle the advice given on this board? The solution is simple. Don't post on here.

The thing about venting here is that you'll get more honest responses than you will if you vent to people who know you IRL. No need to tip toe around things if you don't have a personal relationship. You can read what the OP puts out there, form a gut opinion and respond. If you don't want your crap out on the internet, don't put it there. But don't get all butt hurt when people on here tell you the truth based on the information you give them. If you want someone who will be more worried about your feelings than giving you their best advice, talk to your best friend or your mom, not the internet.
