DH picked out a few Pandora charms all by himself without prompting so I appreciated them probably the most.

My mom got me an ugly shirt.

See above. She can't shop for me. Our tastes are so poler opposite and she knows this yet she still attempts anyway!
What was the best thing you gave and to who?
I have two favoites...we gave my one niece a Cinderella and Prince Charming barbie set and she literally squeeled for like 30 secs when she opened it. It made me happy. My second favorite gift was a scooter we gave my nephew. He's a pipsqueek and it looks so big when he rides it but he looks so stinking cute!
Fave - GC to the Four Seasons spa from my parents for DH and I, DH got me one for my birthday too - so we are all set!! Also - gold cowl neck sweater from my MIL. Totally not something I would pick myself, but I have been thinking the last few weeks that I needed somethng like that.
Returns - poorly fitting sweater and pants from my mom. I appreciate that she wants to buy me clothes, but they are always wrong - color, fit, style. I'm trying to get away from the boring, fat, haggard-mom look I've been rocking the last few years and my mom just keeps getting me nicer versions of the boring fat mom looks, kwim? And, I told her I didn't need any clothes.
Fave to give - I got my sister a light weight printed scarf - it was a bit of an after thought, but she totally oohhhed and ahhhed over it - so that was pretty cool.
I got DD a unicorn that I thought she would love and she did - until she opened the Fur real puppy that DH grabbed at Walmart!
What was the thing you got that you like best? DH completely caught me by surprise with a new MacBook Pro - 15.4", maxed out memory and retina display. This is huge because we're dealing with some major expenses right now and I've been worried that my old Mac is on the verge of biting the dust after 6+ years. Between that and needing a new septic, we had a scary expensive next few months in our future. If you know anything about our current financial set up you'll know how crazy it is that he pulled this off without my knowing. He's apparently been training people without my knowing over the last few months to be able to do it. He was dead set on "finally being able to do something for me." Pretty cool.
We also got some amazing gifts from my parents, my favorite being 2013 season passes to Hershey and Dutch Wonderland. DH loves to just pick up and go (we've been known to take spur of the moment drives to NC for lunch) so having the passes will make for a pretty fun spring/summer.
What's the thing you got that you like least? I don't think anything competes with the $50 bill my MIL threw into an envelope for DS with a card that said "please use this to buy something that doesn't scare him and is ok'ed by you." Nice job getting to know your grandson, ass. (And of course I love how she justifies it with a passive aggressive 'is ok'ed by you' - like I'm a picky mom who needs to approve DS's gifts.) Oh well - at least DS has one awesome set of grandparents. And at least DS got something. They didn't get a damned thing for DH or me.
Any returns? A duplicate puzzle that DS got. That's about it.
What was the best thing you gave and to who? I got DH the Insanity workout system, which I'm pretty excited about. He's been obsessing over fitness lately. DH also got Blast tickets for a fun, throwback guys night with my dad. And we got my mom a great pair of sunglasses that she ended up loving.

What's the thing you got that you like least? My sister put together a gift basket for the baby and included bar soaps and looseleaf teas for me. I don't use either. It was sweet of her to think of me, though.
Any returns? My other sister mistakenly grabbed the wrong size onesie for Liam, so I'll need to exchange that.
What was the best thing you gave and to who? I can't pick just one. DH was elated to have a particular book that he wanted, DD was excited by her My Little Pony Wedding Castle, my Mom liked her Pandora charm, my niece was surprised to see the sweatshirt she was eyeing while we were in Disney. It was all great.

What was the thing you got that you like best? A quilt for our bed that is exactly the same as the quilt we currently have only the new one wasn't shrunk in the washer by me
What's the thing you got that you like least? I don't know...maybe a scarf from my grandparents. It's nice and all, but kind of NMS.
Any returns? I think just a sleeper that SIL got for DS that's too small. I will try to exchange it.
What was the best thing you gave and to who? I don't know. Maybe the Sesame Street dolls I got for DS, lol.

What's the thing you got that you like least? All the clothes I got, there were a couple of things I just thought were ugly and most of them confirmed the fact that I look fat in clothes

What was the best thing you gave and to who? An Elvis Mr. Potato head to my dad was a pretty good reaction
Best thing: my parents got us an iPad!! We'd been wanting one but couldn't justify the cost. I am typing on it right now and I love it. Sydney loves it too
Least: some yoga pants that I am afraid to try on my 3 months post partum body because I think they'll be too small and that will depress me

best thing I gave: a fur real puppy to Sydney - she loves that thing and it was just something I got her on a whim.
Fur Real puppy was a total winner here too! And, a random Walmart grab by DH. It has not left her hands since she got it.
What was the thing you got that you like best? DH got me a mommy necklace which I'm in total love with. I'm actually shocked that he went on Etsy and bought it. LOL!
What's the thing you got that you like least? Probably some gloves that my mom picked out.
Any returns? The rabbit wine opener, I already have one, but I'm not sure I can take it back seeing our friends never gave us the receipt.
What was the best thing you gave and to who? Picture frames of the girls to all the parents. Annabelle loved her baby doll high chair times 2 she got (one from us the other from my brother which we can't return). One for each floor.
What was the thing you got that you like best? Our rescue pup!
What's the thing you got that you like least? The only thing I can think of that I'll probably never use is this sack that you put potatoes in to microwave.
Any returns? Don't think so. My mom got me several tops and sweaters that I haven't tried on yet so I don't know if they fit or not.
What was the best thing you gave and to who? A clay ornament of our dog to DH and a clay magnet of my mom's dog for her
Same here! She sleeps with it, wants to bring it to school with her (which we don't allow), eats with it and even brought it to Annabelle's house last night!
What was the thing you got that you like best? It was a great Christmas and I was happy with all my gifts, but my favorite were tickets to see They Might Be Giants from my sister. It is what I was going to suggest she get us, but never got around to it. I was thrilled that she did it on her own.
What's the thing you got that you like least? Razors and socks from a Yankee Swap
Any returns? Clothes that were too small for the baby, razors, and socks.
What was the best thing you gave and to who? I bought my husband an ez pass and it made our trip to and from Boston so much smoother.
Favorite...My Miss Me very sparkly sequined butt jeans.

We made many gifts this year since we are sandblasting custom glasses as a side thing now. Our favorite one was a Baltimore series candle holder which included the Ol Bay, Orioles, Ravens and Natty Boh which we gave to my SIL.
I also loved giving dh his gift which was a gift certificate to go skydiving with my brothers.
Tristan said this was his best Christmas ever with a tablet and playstation 3.
