2011 Sole F80 Treadmill?
Anyone have experience with this treadmill? I'm looking for a decent used treadmill that will be good for jogging about 15 - 20 miles/week.

We also went for the NordackTrack 5.4 from Sears and I LOVE IT!! It was cheaper than the Sole F80, too. I didn't like the Sole for a few reasons. 1. the control panel was at a weird height, it seemed very low- I had to actually move my head down to look at the screen, which I felt wasn't safe when running at a faster speed. It wasn't ergonomically (sp?) comfortable.
2. I didn't like how in order to go from 6 to 7 (up to 10) miles per hour, you had to use the arrow keys. So, if I wanted to go from 6 to 7 then to 7.5 mph, I had to actually hit the + sign 15 times- annoying!! The NordackTrack has buttons from 1 - 10 miles an hour that you can just press.
3. It took the machine quite a long time to get up to speed. I start running at appx 6 mph and it took a few seconds to get up to speed and then to slow down also took time. -- Annoying!
The Sole was very comfortable to run on, but I didn't notice any difference in the deck from the NT 5.4.
My favorite feature of the NT 5.4 is the speakers- you can plug your ipod in and it will play though the speakers. they are very clear even at a loud volume.
For the price and features, you really can't beat the NT 5.4. Good Luck!
