WTH is wrong with my Face!

So I have been having an issue with my face for about 2 years now and it is only getting worse....I went to the dermatologist and he acted like he had never seen anything like it before, did a biopsy and it came back "infection or inflamation of the hair follicules" but the stuff he prescribed did not work....so does anyone have a similar situation where they get red bumps/patches all over face.....I cover them with makeup but I think it makes it worse.....it is almost like adult acne but I have noticed that it seems to come and go in severity ....some days it will look lighter other days very red and bumpy.....

Do you have any natural home remedies for me to try?   I thought it was hormonal because it really got bad when I was pregnant but my daughter is 2 and it's still there and seems to be "spreading".....   It started as a small patch on my cheek, then both sides, later my chin, forehead and now my nose

Any clue???  It is mostly red blotches with some acne like bumps on forehead and other areas ???

  • I would see a new derm. I think you should also talk to your primary care as well. I hope you can get this figured out soon. Have you been using any new face products? An allergic reaction could be part of it, especially if you are still using those items.

I absolutely agree with PP about seeing new derm and your primary care physician. Also, I would stop applying make-up on my skin (however bad your skin may look) because even you said it's only making it worse.

Sounds like Rosacea to me. A close friend of mine has it. Talk to a new derm about it and they should be able to help you out and show you waht make-up you can wear.
